As such, some of our oils might darken over time - this is totally normal and natural and will NOT affect the character or performance of the fragrance.

Didn't know what to expect from this oil.
I make a candle and the Cold Throw is throwing. It has a high end scent that you would find in luxury stores. I can't wait to burn it !!!

I wouldn’t use this fragrance if you’re looking for your new best seller, it is a very unique and niche fragrance but that’s what I specialize in. I used in perfume/colognes and it lasted a long time and had a very interesting dry down.
At first it has a synthetic, almost metallic smell, but drys down into a smooth, creamy scent with almost a coconut vibe to it.

This is the only FO I’ve purchased from Stock Fragrance so far and I will absolutely be back to try more fragrances. The name and scent notes of Gun Pedal really intrigued me and I couldn’t stop thinking about it so I finally splurged. I wanted to wait to leave this review, until my candle cured and I had a chance to give it a true test. I used 9.5% using a blend of Coco83 (90%) and SP487 (10%) and cured for just shy of two weeks. OMG WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SCENT! The hot throw is one of the best I’ve experienced. So strong in fact that I will be lowering my FO load to 8% for my next batch (possibly lower). I sell my candles on consignment at a local salon and they’ve gotten so much attention from men especially! Literally, people are talking about my candles and friends and fam are going to the salon just to buy them! I poured the candles in a silver aura vessel and named it Gun Metal. For me, the show runner note is metal. I know that sounds odd but I promise you, it’s what makes this FO so unique. Of course it’s not just metal - it also has leather, cologne, and some smoke. I read the review before mine that said it’s too smokey but I completely disagree. It has the perfect amount of smoke. I am honestly blown away with this fragrance. I take pride in offering unique fragrances w my candles and this is the one that has people talking the most. I’m quite literally OBSESSED.

Definitely wasn't expecting it to smell this smoky and I personally didn't like it at all. Everyone I asked for an opinion on the scent said they didn't like it either. Maybe I just don't like smoky scents?

We actually prefer when folks have a love/hate reaction to a fragrance as opposed to when something smells 'nice'. 😊 This fragrance is not for everyone. Just curious, did you try the oil in product? In general, we don't recommend evaluating our fragrances out of bottle as the concentration and intensity of our oils at 100% often distorts the olfactive character - especially this one. Once the oil has been dosed down to finished product levels, many of the nuances and facets can come through.
So glad you went for one of our more niche/progressive oils and hope you'll try (many) more!
